“On August 7th, Bridget Mary Meehan and Mary Theresa Streck of ARCWP met with approximately 35 women and 1 man at An Croi, near Drogheda.
They shared the history of the ARCWP and the women priests movement, via “Our Stories of Call.”
Women in attendance asked a lot of questions and gave us insights into the church’s challenges in Ireland and implications for our movement going forward here.
The conversations went on for over 3 hours and the mood of the room was electric. Some had never heard of women priests and one woman said they were blown away!”
