Attanasio, Toni Kay

Toni-Kay has always been drawn to the religious and spiritual aspects of life. During childhood she desired to become a nun. Instead, she married and raised three wonderful children. After her children were grown and married, she discovered a good friend from high school founded the Ecumenical Catholic Communion. It was there she learned women could be ordained as priests! Toni-Kay was later led to the Association of Roman Catholic Priests through the Community of St. Bridget in Brecksville, Ohio. She knew immediately she had found her place in the world among the women priests at St. Bridget and ARCWP! Toni-Kay considers herself to be a contemplative with Franciscan leanings, as she has a love for nature and the environment. Toni-Kay continues to attend Peoples Catholic Seminary as she prepares for her priestly ordination. She works full time as an educational psychologist in an elementary school district in Los Angeles County where she serves the poorest families who have immigrated from Mexico and Central America. It is highly challenging work and has, no doubt, become part of her ministry to the people of God. Toni Kay was ordained a deacon by Bishop Mary EileenCollingwood in June of 2018, at the Community of St. Bridget in Brecksville, OH.
