Lorranine Sharpe Meyer, Casselberry, FL, was ordained deacon on May 23, 2015 and priest on January 30, 2016. She earned both an MS in Nursing and an MA in Theology while working as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Geriatrics at UCLA. She was later certified by the Association of Professional Chaplains and the N.A. of Catholic Chaplains. Professionally retired, she continues to volunteer with nursing home and homeless populations and in animal shelters. She will make Eucharistic celebrations and other sacraments available to all.
