Sterringer , Shanon

Following over two decades of service in the Diocese of Cleveland as a Pastoral Minister and Director of Religious Education, Shanon Sterringer responded to her call to ordained ministry by applying to ARCWP.  During the last two decades, Shanon has completed a BA in Religious Studies through Cleveland State University; a MA in Theology and D.Min through St. Mary’s Seminary and Graduate School of Theology; a MA in Ministry through Ursuline College; and a Ph.D. in Ethical and Creative Leadership (with a focus on St. Hildegard of Bingen) through Union Institute & University.  Shanon has been married to her husband Richard for 29 years and has three daughters.  Shanon and her family purchased a small church building in Fairport Harbor in 2016 with the intent of forming a community based in the charism of St. Hildegard of Bingen.  Shanon was ordained a deacon in Ohio, July 2019 and a priest in Liz, Austria, August 2019.
